DERM 86001 Dermatology
Students will participate in the evaluation and management of patients presenting with disorders of the integumentary system. Students will have the opportunity to see patients in the clinic setting and obtain the functional knowledge and practical skills needed to identify, evaluate, manage, and prevent common and important dermatologic diseases. Students will also have exposure to dermatologic procedures and surgery. Students will encounter a wide range of disorders including inflammatory dermatologic diseases, systemic diseases with cutaneous manifestations, and neoplastic disease.
