OBGN 86004 Gynecological Oncology
This elective will allow students to learn more about the subspecialty of Gynecologic Oncology, including the presenting symptoms of common malignancies, their evaluation, and treatment, management of treatment complications including management of chemotherapy problems and radiation problems, and management of medical problems associated with progressive malignancies. The elective involves both outpatient and inpatient evaluation and management of women for surgery, chemotherapy, and complications of gynecologic cancer and its treatments.
