ORTH 86005 Orthopaedic Trauma
Students will participate in the management of patients presenting with musculoskeletal trauma. Students will be exposed across the full range of care within a Level 1 Trauma Center, including pre-operative assessment within the Emergency Department, operative management, and post-operative rehabilitation. Clinical areas of exposure will include management of patients with multiple injuries, pelvis and acetabular fractures, post-traumatic reconstruction, hip and pelvis reconstruction, peri-articular fracture fixation, and extremity trauma.
