PEDS 86001 Pediatric Cardiology
Students will be exposed to a broad array of congenital and acquired heart diseases in pediatrics, ranging from fetal to adult congenital heart patients. Over the course of the elective, students will develop a basic understanding of the physiology of normal circulation, as well as the pathophysiology, diagnostic tests, and management of common forms of congenital and acquired heart disease encountered.
