PSYM 86002 Psychiatry, Inpatient
During this rotation, students will be actively involved on an inpatient psychiatry team. The student will be expected to follow patients from admission to discharge, working with the primary treating physician who will be providing supervision while the student performs such duties as psychiatric assessments, diagnostic formulations, participating in family sessions, choosing medications, and developing treatment plans.
