ANES 86004 Pediatric Pain Management

Students will participate in the care and outpatient management of pediatric patients experiencing pain in a wide range of conditions, including acute and chronic presentations of pain involving a spectrum that includes musculoskeletal, neuropathic, post-traumatic, and post-operative causes. Students will be exposed to pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatment strategies of pain management.
