RADS 86001 Interventional Radiology
Students will work alongside attending radiologists with expertise in diagnostic radiology and interventional radiology. Students will gain the fundamental knowledge required of physicians who will be ordering diagnostic imaging and requesting interventional procedures. Students will be introduced to the radiology reading room, a wide array of imaging modalities, and basic and advanced image-guided diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. The student may be given the opportunity to participate in procedures as the attending faculty determines his/her readiness.
