MEDS 86001 Anatomy
In week 1 of the elective, medical students will assist in the preparation of the anatomy sessions which may include preparing cadaveric prosections; creation of HoloAnatomy or 3D anatomic models; and other instructional materials to be used in lab or activity. Additionally, didactic information such as clinical correlations and radiographic images may be incorporated into the instructional materials to reinforce anatomic relationships and to relate structure to function. Cadaveric dissection or HoloAnatomy creation or both will be performed under the supervision of an anatomy faculty member. During the lab or activity week of the elective, students will serve as educators in an anatomy session and will present their feedback on the session with suggestions for improvement.
