MEDS 86008 Medical Spanish
The 2-week Medical Spanish course is designed to promote, enhance, and develop the student’s performance and proficiency of Spanish in relation to healthcare situations. The course focuses on the development of all four language skills (speaking, listening, reading, and writing), around various health-related situations as they appear in the Bates pocket guide/CS class guidelines. Any language course is expected to have various levels of students’ performance and proficiency. Consequently, this course will evaluate the student’s previous experience with the target language and develop a unique plan in which each student can increase his or her language skills, performance, and proficiency.
