IMED 86009 Rheumatology
Students will participate in the evaluation and management of patients presenting with a wide array of rheumatic and autoimmune diseases. Students will learn the musculoskeletal exam and acquire the skills to interpret clinical and laboratory findings in this patient population. Students will have the opportunity to see patients in the clinic setting, encountering diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis, systemic lupus erythematosus, and various forms of inflammatory joint and connective tissue disease.
